EXCURSIONS
I have served as a guide on rivers, lakes, the Cheasapeake Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean for various groups including the Tidewater Appalachian Trail Club (TATC), the Trailblazers of Fords Colony, Wings in Motion Cancer Survivors, and the Elizabeth River Project (ERP). Locations include Stumpy Lake, Lake Drummond of the Great Dismal Swamp, Lafayette River, Northwest River, Chickahominy River, Lake Smith / Lake Lawson Natural Area, Waller Mill Reservoir, Thalia Creek, Grays Creek in Surry, and Smith Island, VA.

The presentation covers kayak and kayak paddle types, components, and materials. It will be useful to those who are considering taking up kayaking as well as those who may be looking to upgrade to a kayak that will up their game.
